Responsibilities: 

• Clean guest rooms and common areas, including: making beds; dusting and vacuuming; cleaning bathrooms; emptying trash cans and ashtrays and cleaning them; replenishing supplies; cleaning windows, mirrors, and patios within a set time frame, using procedures provided by management.
• Use chemicals as directed and become familiar with the material safety data sheets.
• Practice safety procedures, including bending, lifting, handling bloodborne pathogens, and safe use of equipment.
• Report hazardous conditions in the work area or equipment to management.
• Document and secure lost items.
• Upon discovering any property damage, immediately fill out a maintenance request form and/or missing inventory form and submit it to the manager.
• Thoroughly clean the housekeeping cart and storage unit of all trash and organize the carts/storage units.
• Keep supplies ready by restocking the housekeeping cart at the end of the shift.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by management.
