The Chick-fil-A cultural exchange position is a one-year journey through a quick service restaurant environment, where the participant will learn all aspects of the restaurant operation.
This will include front of house (guest facing positions) where the participant will be given the tools and training necessary to offer Chick-fil-A’s industry leading level of service, as well as back of the house kitchen training where the participant will learn cold and hot side prep and become certified in food safety procedures.
The participant will also learn the basics of quick service restaurant business finance, administration, and other financial procedures.
The participant’s will also be offered the opportunity for personal and leadership growth via our leadership training and development program, which includes classroom time, on-the-job application skills, and mentoring from the Chick-fil-A franchisee and the highly experienced team.
The participant will also have the chance to enjoy all that Chattanooga, Tennessee has to offer, from outdoors to the vibrant local art scene.
The Tennessee River runs through the center of Chattanooga and around Lookout Mountain, so whether it is water sports, rock climbing, hang gliding, or hiking, Chattanooga has everything you will need for fun outdoor activities.
If arts and entertainment are appealing, Chattanooga can provide through one of the largest community theaters in the country, a vibrant local music scene, the Hunter Art Museum, or a number of venues to take in a traveling musician or Broadway show.
Also, within a two-hour drive to the west is the city of Nashville, the home of country music, or a two-hour drive south will bring the participant to Atlanta, Georgia, where one can enjoy just about anything the largest city in the Southeastern, United States has to offer.
Requisites to apply:
Trainee Program
- Restaurant / Hospitality / Hotel Management accredited diploma with at least 1 year experience
- 5 to 10 years experience in related field when no diploma
- Intermediate level of English – conversational level
- Valid passport.
Intern
- Be currently enrolled in Hospitality management or hotel management studies or have graduated from an accredited institution within the past 12 months.
- Intermediate level of English – conversational level
- Valid passport.
