After being eligible, Luis Galindo obtained the Green Card working for Badger Bus. In addition, he took his family with him, as the EB-3 program allows it. Now his wife and son are also living and working legally in the US.
I am extremely happy to have obtained my Permanent Residence in the USA. Although there are also many mixed feelings because it will be a totally extreme change for us, but we have been aware that it is only the beginning of a great adventure.
In addition, MCC USA was a very serious and professional company, they were always very attentive to ensure that the entire process went well until reaching the point of approval. So now all that remains is to enjoy our residence legally, and then be able to apply for American citizenship.
I think that the EB-3 is a very good investment! Why? Because I already have a job, my husband can look for a job that suits his profile and skills, we can study and grow professionally, we can help our families and the best thing is to be able to travel to Colombia to be with them whenever we want and when necessary.
Having Permanent Residence makes me feel very happy because it first helps us to achieve our dreams. In addition, the fact of having the Green Card for 10 years with the possibility of applying for citizenship, is a dream that seemed unattainable.
Especially with regards to our daughter's future, the EB-3 Program proved to be a good investment. With the EB-3 Program, we obtained two 10-year residencies and the security of being able to perform a job to initiate our establishment in the USA, in addition to the possibility of naturalizing in the country.
My long-term expectation is to be able to establish ourselves in Florida near our relatives and to be able to perform skilled jobs according to our experience and training in Colombia, once we have improved our level of English and have adapted to the culture in the USA.
We chose to make this change to give our children a better quality of life with greater opportunities. It is a great effort to start with an unskilled job, since we are engineers with specialization and master's degrees, but we are convinced that we will be able to grow and soon practice our profession.
It is important to keep in mind that the process can take more than two years, therefore, one must have patience in the waiting and continue living in the present in Colombia while it progresses.
