Who can apply for vacancies?
Persons who are inadmissible may not enter or stay stay in the United States of America by law.
- The Immigration and Nationalization Act of the United States of America establishes 8 categories of inadmissibility.
The categories are:
- Health reasons.
- Criminal history.
- Reasons of national security.
- Becoming a public burden.
- Reasons based on lack of labor certification.
- Reasons based on fraud or misrepresentation of information.
- Reasons based on illegal stay and/or deportations.
- Miscellaneous reasons.
Some of these cases of inadmissibility can
be remedied only if the law so provides.
